We are creating a new Research Development Team (RDT) in the Biological Sciences Division to manage and facilitate the pre-award phase of grant submission, providing research development support to teams of investigators leading large-scale scientific grant proposals. The goal is to decrease the administrative burden of submitting large grant proposals, to stimulate more science at the interface of different disciplines and to transcend traditional departmental boundaries. We are excited to be committing resources to support more far-reaching research proposals and to help increase our visibility and position as scientific leaders.
